MatchMove Adds SingPost’s Smart Post Office Network as New Top-up Points for its Payment Solutions

Greater convenience and better value for end users in Singapore to Spend and Send money digitally

Singapore, 30 July 2018 – MatchMove today announced that it has tied up with Singapore Post (SingPost) to add more top-up points for its proprietary Banking Wallet OSTM, a payment solution that enables ‘Banking As A Service’ with the capabilities of Spend, Send, LendTM within any app. Starting today, businesses that use MatchMove’s payment solutions will be able to let their users enjoy greater convenience of topping up money into their smartphones through SingPost’s Smart Post Office network, which comprises 57 brick-and-mortar outlets and the SAM Omni-channel platform of 300 self-service automated kiosks, a web portal and a mobile app.

Ms Ashley Koh, SVP and GM of Send, MatchMove, said: “Adding more online and offline top-up points in the heartlands will certainly provide a better support on the operations for our clients who have customers in Singapore. Instead of having to maintain physical and virtual touchpoints, our clients can tap on SingPost’s extensive network and let their customers enjoy the convenience of topping-up at SingPost’s post offices and SAM Kiosks islandwide as well as SingPost’s SAM web and mobile platforms. These top-up points are in addition to the existing options of using credit/debit cards and eNETS for top-ups. They will provide an additional channel for customers to convert cash into digital currency to spend and send money online.”

The first to offer this additional top-up channel to its customers is BOSS Mobile Money app, a remittance service that allows users in Singapore to make fast and secure cross-border money transfers at low cost.

BOSS Mobile Money

BOSS Mobile Money app empowers foreigners working and living in Singapore to send money back home anytime, anywhere. The app allows users to make remittance transfers from Singapore to The Philippines, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, China and Malaysia. Users can search and select the best prices (inclusive of transfer fee and foreign exchange rates) to send money and choose from a wide range of payout agents for their loved ones to receive the money. With these additional top-up points, BOSS Mobile Money users can remit money faster and easier than before.

Mr Guntha Raviteja, a regular user of BOSS Mobile Money, said: “I’m glad that now I can go to any SAM Kiosk in my neighborhood at any time and use my bank account to top-up money into the app instantly. I don’t have to worry about having to apply urgent leave or stand in long queues when my family needs money for emergency use back at home in India.”
